Journey to Japan is an immersive exploration of Japanese artistry and musical traditions. With curriculum guidelines that can be modified for any age group, this series presents dynamic multi-disciplinary cultural workshops and performances.

Hands-on sessions incorporate a combination of ukulele and hichiriki (double reed Japanese flute) instruction and artist-led workshops.

Traditions explored include: taiko drumming, gagaku (classical Japanese court music), ikebana (floral arrangement), calligraphy, kamishibai storytelling, singing, Japanese dance, and origami.
