SUMMER MUSIC LAB
The Midori Summer Music Lab brings together some of the nation’s most dedicated high school string players for a week of intensive learning and connection. In this immersive experience, young musicians elevate their artistry, build leadership skills, and find their voices as advocates for the power of music.
INSTRUMENT INSTRUCTION
Play to Learn opens the door for K–12 students in historically underserved neighborhoods to discover the joy of making music. With 14 different instrument and vocal programs, students gain access to high-quality instruction, creative expression, and the confidence that comes with learning to play.
CELEBRATE! MUSIC CONCERT SERIES
Celebrate! Music expands the musical horizons of students in grades K-12 by introducing them to different cultures and music genres through live performances and classroom workshops.
TEEN LEADERSHIP
NEXTGen Musician is a five-month fellowship for New York City high school students with a passion for music. Through the pillars of leadership, artistry, and advocacy, fellows grow as musicians and changemakers supported by a strong alumni network and dedicated board mentors who continue to open doors long after the program ends.
JOURNEY TO JAPAN
Step into the sights and sounds of Japan. Journey to Japan brings students of all ages an immersive experience in Japanese music and creative arts—featuring taiko drumming, calligraphy, ikebana, onigiri, and more. Flexible in length and designed for all ages, it’s an engaging, joyful way to explore culture through music and creativity.
