People of Earth
People of Earth is a global music ensemble made up of 13 musicians from around the world. PoE loves to play all American Timba Music, which blends all kinds of music from North and South America, especially music from Cuba, Puerto Rico, Haiti, the United States and Brazil. The members of People of Earth speak and sing in many different languages including Spanish, English, Portuguese, Kreyole, German, French, Greek and more. The band formed in 2017 when friends from around the world who live in New York City decided they wanted to have fun jamming and creating music together. Now, People of Earth plays all around the United States, and loves sharing their fun Latin dance rhythms, songs, and dances with young people throughout NYC.
