In Solidarity with #BlackLivesMatter

Midori & Friends stands in solidarity with our creative arts colleagues in support of the #BlackLivesMatter movement and non-violent protests for real, meaningful changes to address systemic racism in America.

As hundreds of thousands of people march across America, we add our voice to the chorus demanding that the harsh realities of injustice and discrimination be acknowledged and confronted.

Martin Luther King, Jr. said: “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”

Through Midori & Friends’ continuing work to bring music to marginalized communities that have little or no access to the arts, we are committed to empowering people through creative expression.

We call on local and national leaders to join this movement to fight for equity, justice and dignity for all people.
