Carol brings a remarkable breadth of experience spanning finance, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy. She began her career at Bankers Trust Company as Vice President in the Capital Markets Group, before going on to serve as Managing Director for an executive search firm in Tokyo. While living in Hong Kong, she served as an advisor and angel investor to AsiaInfo — and since 1995, she has been an active startup investor and mentor to entrepreneurs around the world. Carol's passion for giving back is equally impressive. In 2000, she co-founded the Rattray Kimura Family Foundation, dedicated to Education and Conservation, and in 2012 she co-founded Zoomdojo LLC to support career success for students and young professionals. Her deep commitment to education and her global perspective makes her a natural and inspired fit for the Midori & Friends community.
