Yuka graduated from Keio University with a bachelor’s degree in business and commerce with a major in marketing. Upon graduation, she joined Lehman Brothers Japan in the Operations Department before becoming their Philanthropy Coordinator. Yuka then moved to New York to attend New York University, where she earned a MS degree in Philanthropy and Fundraising. She briefly worked for the Japanese government giving grants to organizations in the U.S. who promoted Japanese culture. She joined MUFG in 2011 in Corporate Communications department and now works for Corporate Social Responsibility for the Americas. Yuka manages volunteer programs and comanages the MUFG Foundation covering NY, NJ, Canada and all of Latin America. She is also the global CSR liaison to Tokyo. Yuka enjoys her free time playing golf, practicing Pilates, going to the US Open tennis, traveling, cooking, and loves to spend time with her friends and family.
