Midori & Friends is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors who bring deep expertise and a shared commitment to the power of music education. As we enter our 34th year of service to the New York City community, our Board plays a vital role in shaping the organization's future through governance, strategic planning, fundraising, and community outreach. Board members contribute their knowledge across a range of fields including finance, education, arts advocacy, and leadership, ensuring that Midori & Friends remains a strong, sustainable, and impactful force in the lives of the children and communities we serve.

Young Professionals Board
Are you a young professional who believes every child deserves a quality music education? So do we.
The Midori & Friends Young Professionals Board (YPB) brings together passionate individuals ages 25–35 to fundraise, raise awareness, and champion music education across our communities. Through social media creation, student support, governance and special events, the YPB invites the next generation of leaders to lend their skills, make their mark, and change lives in the process.

Join Our Teaching Artist Network
Use your musical expertise to inspire the next generation of young musicians. Join a community of passionate teaching artists who inspire children and shape generations to come. We are currently seeking teaching artists specializing in violin, viola, cello, keyboard, brass, woodwinds, percussion, voice, and more to bring the joy of music to students across New York City.
