Role: Development Coordinator
Type: Part-Time
Reporting To: Vice President of Development
Hours & Rate: 15-20 hours per week @ $30/hr
Position Type: Hybrid (Remote work & occasional in-person support)
Job Description:
Midori & Friends is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented part-time Development Coordinator to support the Vice President of Development in all fundraising aspects. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. This is a hybrid position located in New York City.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track donations & monitor progress towards quarterly and annual goals
- Compose & send donor acknowledgement letters
- Data entry & database management
- Identify & vet potential funders
- Track grant application deadlines & grantor touch points
- Provide general administrative support for fundraising activities, including grant reports, special events, and other projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational & time management skills
- Proficiency in database management & data entry
- Excellent written communication skills
- Superb attention to detail
- Strong PC and CRM skills (Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Google Suite, Salesforce, Canva, etc.)
- Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising practices & landscape

- Reliable internet connection & availability for Zoom meetings
