It is terrific that children have the opportunity to delve into cultural traditions from around the globe. These concerts and workshops instill pride in students own heritage and foster compassion and empathy to cultures different than their own.

Imagine an Adventure Concert that continues for 6 to 8 weeks! The Adventure Concert Series is offered in a variety of formats, including Musical Learning Adventures, a special program of performance-based workshops that provide children with an opportunity to examine a particular culture through its musical traditions. An individual concert group follows their introductory concert with a total cultural immersion into dance, visual, and language arts of their country. The program culminates with an exciting onstage performance of our students and artists attended by the entire school population as well as the parents. School principals praise the program’s ability to improve cultural understanding, enhance community, and foster pride of heritage
